‘You Cannot Stop Me’: Televangelist Creflo Dollar Defies Opponents in Effort to Buy $65 Million Jet
COLLEGE PARK, Ga. — Televangelist Creflo Dollar defied opponents of his global effort to purchase a $65 million dollar jet in a recent message delivered to his congregation.
“Let me tell you something about believing God. I can dream as long as I want to. I can believe God as long as I want to,” he states in a video posted to YouTube by a group not affiliated with Dollar. “If I want to believe God for a $65 million plane, you cannot stop me. You cannot stop me from dreaming.”
Jeremiah 23: 25 – 28 [ESV]
I have heard what the prophets have said who prophesy lies in my name, saying, ‘I have dreamed, I have dreamed!’ How long shall there be lies in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies, and who prophesy the deceit of their own heart, who think to make my people forget my name by their dreams that they tell one another, even as their fathers forgot my name for Baal? Let the prophet who has a dream tell the dream, but let him who has my word speak my word faithfully. What has straw in common with wheat? declares the LORD.
IHOP announces their replacement for Joyce Meyer:
We are thrilled to announce that Reinhard Bonnke will be joining us for Onething 2014!
Reinhard Bonnke is known as one of the most powerful evangelists of all time. Hundreds of thousands of people attend his gospel crusades in Africa; in the last ten years, over 53 million people have committed their lives to Jesus in his meetings. Miracles and signs and wonders of all kinds follow Reinhard’s preaching.(Source)
The false teachings of Bonnke are documented at these links:
“More and more professing Christians are uniting with wolves in sheep’s clothing. Likewise, wolves and wolverines are joining forces with wolves from different wolf packs. The pack is growing. It’s getting stronger – and they’re cunning! False teachers now play a major role in the Christian community. As I mentioned above, in order to transform society into the kingdom of God on earth, wolves and wolverines must control things, such as entertainment; government; education; business/economy; media; and family – they’re heavily involved in pro-family organizations.”

About those televangelists, faith healers, and dealers who are wolves in sheeps clothing…
Sometime ago this question appeared in a local newspaper. It read: “Why don’t televangelists go to hospitals and cure people instead of just a few on TV?” Good question. To validate their message as being from God, Jesus, Peter and the other apostles healed unbelievers wherever they encountered them. Maybe today’s so-called healers don’t heal in public places like hospitals because contrary to their claims, they really can’t heal. Their ministry is more for show than for go.
Why are unbelievers not amazed by the miracles that faith healers pretend to do? As in Acts 3:1-11, why are people not “wondering” after the sick and lame who are healed? Perhaps it’s because there’s really nothing happening to wonder about.

The following is a well researched (8 page) article from The Truth and Discernment Ministry of Victor T. Stephens:
The Word-Faith Movement: Wolves In Sheep’s Clothing
The most rapid expanding segment in today’s modern church age is the Word-Faith Movement. It is this charismatic, yet heretical camp, that is attempting to persuade us that Jesus and His disciples were rich; that poverty and sickness is sin, and that faith is a creative force. Creflo Dollar, Eddie Long, Kenneth Copeland, T.D. Jakes, and Fred Price are among many others who subscribe to these erroneous teachings. This article addresses, exposes, and refutes the unbiblical doctrines of the WordFaith Movement by closely examining the scriptures and contrasting them to Word-Faith theology. In addition to an in-depth analysis, this article contains numerous citations and audio files of the inaccurate and blasphemous statements spewed from Word-Faith teachers.

One of the greatest apostles of faith that was such an example to Todd Bentley of teaching and preaching the word was Kenneth Hagin:

Bentley likes the fact that Hagin got drunk in the spirit in tent meetings and had lots of visions. Here is a glimpse of Hagin and friends being drunk in the spirit, which Todd Bentley thinks so highly of:

Christ’s physical death on the cross was not enough to save us.

The Christian “is as much an incarnation as was Jesus of Nazareth.”
-“The Incarnation,” The Word of Faith (Dec. 1980)
“[Man] was created on terms of equality with God, and he could stand in God’s presence without any consciousness of inferiority…God made us as much like Himself as possible…He made us the same class of being that He is Himself…Man lived in the realm of God. He lived on terms equal with God…[The] believer is called Christ…That’s who we are; we’re Christ”

*Crosstalk Alert* Wednesday
Word of Faith
I recently posted a message from Justin Peters on the Word of Faith movement and its heretical teachings. This is the movement that has produced so many false teachers, including Todd Bentley and his Lakeland “revival”. Justin will be joining me on Wednesday, Crosstalk, the Lord willing, and we will be talking about the basic teachings of this movement and how it is in conflict with biblical Christianity. Justin travels to churches around the country with his “A Call for Discernment” seminars. You can listen to the program live at 2pm Central time at our Crosstalk website.
This was written in 2007 but is just as important, if not more so, today.
The Letter To Laodicea Is A Warning To The TRUE Church Today
by Sandy Simpson, 4/30/07
Rev. 3:14-22 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Much has been made of this passage, using it to point out what is happening today in the apostate churches around the world. It is true that they believe they are rich in spiritual things when they are very poor. It can be applied in one sense to the Word of Faith movement. It is true that the “River” movement of Latter Rain teachings do think they are hot when actually they are cold.
But this letter to the end times church of Laodicea is actually talking to biblical Christians who are born again…
