Kenneth Hagin: Todd Bentley’s Greatest Example

One of the greatest apostles of faith that was such an example to Todd Bentley of teaching and preaching the word was Kenneth Hagin:

Bentley tells about influences from Kenneth Hagin

Bentley likes the fact that Hagin got drunk in the spirit in tent meetings and had lots of visions. Here is a glimpse of Hagin and friends being drunk in the spirit, which Todd Bentley thinks so highly of:

Here are some Kenneth Hagin quotes:

Christ’s physical death on the cross was not enough to save us.
-How Jesus obtained His Name, Tape 44H01

The Christian “is as much an incarnation as was Jesus of Nazareth.”
-“The Incarnation,” The Word of Faith (Dec. 1980)

“[Man] was created on terms of equality with God, and he could stand in God’s presence without any consciousness of inferiority…God made us as much like Himself as possible…He made us the same class of being that He is Himself…Man lived in the realm of God. He lived on terms equal with God…[The] believer is called Christ…That’s who we are; we’re Christ”
-“Zoe: The God-Kind of Life,” 1989. pp. 35-36, 41

Thanks for posting this truth. It seems that so many are calling this man a ‘man of God’ that I forget that so many others see the truth.

I just heard of Todd Bentley last week from a friend who is in the charismatic movement. She described him much differently than what I saw on this video…oh my, look into his eyes…there is evil and in Revelations time and again John writes to the churches…”to have ears to hear and eyes to see what the Spirit is saying”, the Holy Spirit tells me that this man is evil. Jesus is the good shepherd…this man screams and yells…that’s not the Jesus I know. My Jesus is gentle, and kind, full of grace. That’s what He calls us to be like and I would run as fast as I could from this man. My gift of discernment tells me he’s an imposture! Thanks for this post, the wolves are out there and they are eating people up.

  4. It really is a shame Todd Bentley didn’t pay more attention to Kenneth Hagin’s teachings. Then all this nonsense would never have happened.
