Joshua Mills is still up to the same old gold dust nonsense. Here he is in March at the Glory Conference in the Phillippines, deceiving the gullible sheep by getting covered in gold dust and trying to release creative and recreative(?) signs and wonders.
At the 45 second mark Mills says, “Right now I command organs to be created in your body!”
How did that go for you Joshua? Any success? Inquiring minds want to know. And why just organs? Why not arms and legs? Or fingers? How convenient. Those people can’t see organs, they are on the inside. Got any documented testimonies with x-ray follow up? And if God is releasing creative and recreative miracles, why is He always releasing the same old gold dust? It’s getting kind of repetitive. Why not try something more creative?
And by the way, if your command for new organs to be created didn’t work, doesn’t that make you a false prophet?

January 23, 2013I am really hoping to make this the last of this type of article for awhile. Some people think I “love” putting out this stuff. But I honestly wish it would all go away, so we could get on with the ‘real’ work of building the kingdom.
However, Bill Johnson is doing such damage to the Body of Christ around the world that I simply cannot stay silent. In New Zealand (where I am currently) he holds a huge Conference once a year called “Manifest Presence”. This is amost certainly the biggest and most influential Christian conference in the whole country. And likewise in other nations, such as UK, Australia, Singapore, and many others. His influence is enormous.

At Solution Ministries, Ron and Marilyn Marquardt want you to know that…
God wants you to live your dreams. He desires that your desires are fulfilled…He desires you to enter into rest and an effortless lifestyle of success.
Fulfilled desires? An effortless lifestyle of success? Really? Where does God say that in the Bible?
“If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you.” John 15:18,19
“These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

When they do evangelism training, rather than sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Marquardts teach their trainees to just share the ‘love of God’. They seem to have missed the fact that if people don’t hear the bad news (the wages of sin is death), they won’t know their need for the good news (that Jesus paid their wages).
They also teach their trainees that they can do miracles. Their ad, which can also be seen on the Elijah List, says: You Can Do Miracles: Free Classes at Spirit Training Seminars.
The truth is, you can’t do miracles. Only God can. Jesus said, “I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.” John 15:5 [bold mine]

We must be discerning sheep, and learn to measure everything with Scripture. Even ‘nice’ wolves are still…wolves. Can you spot the wolves in sheeps clothing? If not, study your Bible and ask God to grant you discernment.

Do you believe that this ‘anointed prophet and healer’ who fell into grievous sin last year is now being restored? Have you been told that his ministry will be put on hold until his restoration process is complete and he is ready to come back? Have you been told that he has repented and is making things right? And have you looked closely to see what the restored Mr. Bentley looks like thus far?
In regards to his ministry being put on hold, the truth is that even though Mr. Bentley is not speaking publicly yet (other than the Morning Star restoration video clips) his new ministry (Fresh Fire USA) is up and running. Not only is he teaching how to restore your spiritual prime from his website (as if that is something ‘you’ can ‘do’), right now his website is promoting his ‘August teaching bundles’ and his ‘September healing bundles.’ His old books are also being sold on-line. Cheat night? What a poor choice of words, unless his followers have so quickly forgotten about the ‘cheating’ that occurred while he was doing ministry on stage every day during the Florida “revival”, possibly even during the same month he brought his sick wife Shonnah and his children onto the stage and introduced them to the T.V. fans.
There are various other articles on both the website and the blog now, written by Mr. Bentley. As you browse and read them, you may be thinking that he sounds so mature and learned as he quotes Oswald Chambers and the Bible, as if he’s had his season with sin and he’s all grown up now, and it’s all okay. Do you believe him when he talks as if he knows, and is so near to, the Holy Spirit, while in the same breath he throws in a good word for false prophet Benny Hinn and tacks on a plug from his ‘ministry team’ for his old soaking CD ? It is a partnership and a fellowship; we confide, make decisions, encourage, and champion each other! This point might cause one to wonder which wife Mr. Bentley is comparing the Holy Spirit to, since he now is married to wife number two.

Are the precious gifts of the Holy Spirit something to be merchandized or taught? Does God not give His gifts to those who love Him for free? Why is Mr. Bentley selling manuals on how to learn healing, if it is a gift from God?
Oh, but he said he is not in ministry right now. Yes, we forgot.

These include Patricia King and James Goll, TD Jakes, John Crowder and the new mystics, Kim Clement, and even John and Paula Sandford, who tapped into the Occult for their inner healing techniques. Todd Bentley’s website is also selling soaking music, as previously mentioned, to bring you into another realm through those portals that he so often taught about, where he g0t beamed up to have conversations with his angels and another Jesus with brown Bambi eyes.
Through this so called restoration, has he renounced any of these teachings and associations with snake oil salesmen and false prophets and unbiblical teaching? Has he publicly confessed? Has he made himself accountable to God alone?
While we can not judge his heart, we can see his actions and his choices, and we do know that he has put himself under the authority of Rick Joyner, the “inaccurate prophet” who has often made prophetical “mistakes” and values his claims of revelation knowledge above scripture. It is under this man that Todd Bentley is to be ‘restored’ at Morning Star Ministries.
The Bible explicitly warns us of this.
“But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.” 2 Peter 2:1
If, after reading this, you still want to follow Todd Bentley, please consider this. When a man falls into grievous sin, if his heart is truly after God, like King David, will he not bow the knee to his Holy God and take his rightful position in the dirt, casting all before Him? Should he not weep before the Lord in brokenness and turn from himself? Would he not bare all, and come clean, forsaking all, fearing God and not man, to the point of even giving up trying to save face with his adoring fans? If not, has such a man truly died to himself? Would such a man white wash his current state of affairs and say he gets along with his wife even better now, to make it seem right? The wife he left while in the ‘ministry’? The mother of his children? Is such a man in any position to start teaching God’s Holy Word, or to profit from any previous supposed ministry or service to God? What would show the most respect to our Holy God? What actions would honor His Holy Name?
“The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.” Psalm 51:17
And what about those dear people in wheel chairs and on stretchers that came to the healing revival, the ones Bob Jones prophesied would get up on the stage in front of the TV cameras? Yes, the same ones who didn’t make the cut up onto the healing stage in Florida because they were too sick to parade on the platform? And what about their families whose hopes were dashed as they brought them back home in the same condition. What if their faith was crushed because they were told by the flamboyant Mr. Bentley to come down and get some, and they went home without a miracle? Even Todd Bentley’s shocking alchohol consumption (as stated by John Arnott of TACF) problem during these miracle crusades paled in comparison to these signs of a snake oil prophet/huckster whose bouncers passed the bucket every night for more gold. Have those things been addressed, or even confessed? Has this ‘anointed healer,’ whose sick wife was damaging his faith healer stage image, apologized for hurting the sheep and shaming the name of our precious Saviour? Or is it still about lies and money and cheat nights?
Barely a year after the whole mess was quickly tidied up, it appears that he is already profiting from his new ministry (which is supposedly on hold, remember?), thanks to Rick Joyner, the professional false prophecy ‘misunderstanding’ mop up man, for whom professional round table apology public relation sessions have been common place for decades.
So I ask you, all you faithful followers of Todd Bentley – is this what the Bible describes as good fruit, or is this the rotten fruit of the money tree? Do you believe what you are being told? Which shepherd are you going to follow?
“Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.” Matthew 7:20
Oh, precious sheep, if you truly belong to God, look to your Good Shepherd. He will never lie, abuse, or use you. He will never ask you to pay for His gifts. His prophecies always come true, because His Word is truth. Ask Him to show you the way, and follow Him today. Turn off the Morning Star webinars and turn to Jesus Christ, the way, the truth and the life. Listen to His voice today.

What is all this about? Does God sprinkle gold on us to show us He loves us? Are gold fillings and gold dust a sign and wonder from God? What about hands dripping with oil? Is that any different from the stigmata or tears dripping from statues which Catholics flock to?

They are not worried if a blue cloud hovers in the meeting-room, or if a woman shakes gold dust out of her hair. They gaze in wonder if oil drips from somebody’s hands, (and presumably would be just as awestruck by the kind of visible stigmata that Catholics have long known about?)…

One person that Todd Bentley has done ‘fire and glory’ conferences with is John Crowder. See here. This coming November, according to John Crowder’s itinerary page, Todd Bentley is scheduled to speak at The Oil of His Presence Conference alongside John Crowder and Stacey Campbell.

John Crowder also teaches a strange “buzz” gospel. He says that when you witness to Satanists, no talking is necessary. All you need is to just show up buzzed and whacked in the glory. He also teaches a ‘whacky’ version of contemplative prayer and mysticism.
About 3:30 on a youtube called The Ecstasy of God Part 4 Crowder starts talking about contemplative prayer and the ecstasy of God – a heart that’s infused in pleasure. As he talks about this he walks around in a stupor, and describes how he has days where he wakes up whacked, so sloshed he can barely put his clothes on. He says to follow the little white rabbit to have the best trips with Jesus. Meditation is the second stage of prayer, the place where you meditate on a vision, actually encountering and ‘doing stuff.’ But where we really need to live is in this realm of stage three that is union, deep deep heavy ‘shoobie doobie.’ He says that a lot of mystics say it is a lesser ecstasy, an experience of His presence. Give me a Godka, the hard stuff, jack me up like Daniel’s, ends Crowder.

If this is who Todd Bentley has been associating himself with, and will be associating himself with in the future, what does that tell us about Todd Bentley? As those in his home town know, it is no secret that divine angelic feathers were claimed to have been landing on people during his local meetings. As it turned out, the building was well known for birds that nested in the rafters.
As the old saying goes, (buzzed, whacked, drunken) birds of a (fake) feather flock together.

It’s about FEAR OF THE LORD and His JUSTICE, not one-sided promises of blessing because God just wants to love on you.”

THE GREAT Physician may also be the Great Dentist. In the past two months, several dozen people have reported receiving gold fillings and similar miracles at churches and revival meetings throughout British Columbia.
“They were having people come up to be prayed for,” recalls Dorothy McKee, who says she received four gold teeth at the Mission Foursquare Church March 21. “My husband was checking people as they went up to the front, and he looked in my mouth, and voilˆ, I already had them.”
Dental miracles have been reported around the world, most recently in Argentina, at various times over the years. The first instance of miraculous fillings in Canada took place March 3 at the Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship. Within a week, over 300 people claimed to have received dental miracles there.
It took only a couple of weeks for churches in Langley and Mission to follow suit. Nine people reported receiving dental miracles at the Langley Vineyard’s March 20 service; the next night, seven people reportedly received the same during Todd Bentley’s revival service at Mission Foursquare Church. And the reports keep coming in.
“We’ve had between 45 and 50 people who’ve reported some kind of dental miracles in their mouths,” says Langley Vineyard pastor Jesse Padgett. Of those, he estimates about 15 to 20 have gone to the dentist for confirmation.
Bentley, an Abbotsford-based evangelist, says the Mission meeting marked the first time gold teeth have appeared at any of his meetings. “Since then it’s appeared in almost every meeting that I’ve done,” he says, citing his recent trips to Mackenzie, Prince George and Portland, Oregon.

Dear Denny,
I had a vision of you while Todd Bentley was praying for you at the meetings in Lakeland, when we were up on the platform together.
I saw a vision of this whirlwind of fire–trailblazing across Oregon, and it was burning up forest trees and the fire was spreading and it was getting larger and larger and it began to consume towns and cities–all across the State of Oregon.
As I watched, I also saw that it began to pull “golden stones” (people) out of the ground–they were alive. As these came out of the ground, they swirled within this whirlwind of fire and they were full of life. I saw these golden stones begin to shine really bright and then they were flung out all over the nation of America. Hot, golden living stones.
The Lord is showing me that what is taking place with you and your ministry, Denny (based in Albany, Oregon), is going to set Oregon on fire.
The Lord is also showing me a city–Medford, Oregon. The reason I know of this city is because my parents used to live there. I also saw that this fire touched Medford in a great way. The wind is blowing and the fire is burning and watch out Oregon, here it comes! Many people will be sent out from Oregon–golden stones to touch the nation.

Golden earrings? Wait a minute. Isn’t that what the children of Israel used to make a molten gold calf? (Exodus 32)
The fact is that gold dust lust generally draws people away from God and leads them into sin (see Pentecostal ministers caught out faking word of knowledge prophecy & healing). And what of the 300 people who received Gold Teeth Miracles in Toronto? Did this turn the world upside down and bring revival? The apostles did not need to use gold or gimmicks as a means to spread the gospel (in fact Peter said, “Silver and gold have I none”).
