Worthy is the Lamb
The men of the Bible always fell down when they saw the glory of the Lord. Even the angels fall down before Him.
-Abraham fell on his face before God
-Moses and Aaron fell on their faces in the presence of all the assembly of the congregation and before God
-Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and bowed down
-Ezekiel, and Daniel fell on their faces
-Isaiah said “Woe is me, for I am ruined!Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I live among a people of unclean lips;For my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.”
-Simon Peter fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!”
-the disciples fell face down to the ground and were terrified
-the leper fell on his face at the feet of Jesus
-the angels who were standing around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, all fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God
In the Bible we never read about anyone who saw God’s glory and said “BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! HO! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! HEY! HEY! HEY! TAKE IT! TAKE! TAKE IT!” As well, we never read that they fell on their backs and laughed while in God’s glory.
Instead, they recognized the glory and holiness of the Lord. They didn’t blabber on about “it” and tell everyone that they felt “it,” and to come and “get some.” They didn’t command God to release His glory. They didn’t draw attention to themselves for having seen God’s glory, or make money from His glory. They just fell down on their faces before God, exposed, terrified. When they saw His glory, they knew their wretchedness, and they worshiped Him. Even the angels do not take God’s glory, but give it back to Him. Except for the fallen ones.
Wolves in sheeps clothing take glory in themselves. They even give glory to angels. Wolves have no fear of God, and they don’t fall on their faces before the Lamb of God. But they will, soon enough. The Lord has said it, and it will come to pass.
“Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”
Matthew 7: 22,23
A PRAYER ON BEHALF OF THE SHEEP
Lord Jesus, on behalf of your flock, hear our prayer. We repent for not bowing down before you! We have made idols of signs, wonders, gifts, feelings, and experiences, while following men, not You! Forgive us Lord, cleanse our hearts, and send true revival! We bow down and confess, we fall face down before You, the Lamb of God. Only you are worthy to be praised!

Lord, soften their hearts, open their eyes. Send your Spirit to convict them, for your Name’s sake. Amen.

It sounds like there is a lot of BAM in this man’s heart. Todd Bentley doesn’t seem to know why he says it, but he likes to say it quite loudly, and 24 times in a row. So what exactly does he mean by saying BAM? And what is the definition of this word BAM? The following definitions may give us a clue, and are taken from various dictionary sources:

So, Mr. Bentley. Which BAM is it? What is the point of repeating it so often? And have you really changed, repented or been humbled before our Holy God at all?

The most severe enemy of sheep is the predator–the flesh-eating wild animal (indicated in Matthew 10:16 as a wolf). According to (Phillip) Keller, “Two [wild] dogs have been known to kill as many as 292 sheep in a single night of unbridled slaughter. Ewes, heavy in lamb, when chased by dogs or other predators will slip their unborn lambs and lose them in abortions. A shepherd’s loss from such forays can be appalling. One morning at dawn I found nine of my choicest ewes, all soon to lamb, lying dead in the field” (p. 37).
“On several occasions [cougars] came in among my sheep at night working terrible havoc in the flock. Some ewes were killed outright, their blood drained and livers eaten. Others were torn open and badly clawed…. Some had huge patches of wool torn from their fleeces. In their frightened stampede some had stumbled and broken bones or rushed over rough ground injuring legs and bodies.
“Yet despite the damage, despite the dead sheep, despite the injuries and fear instilled in the flock, I never once actually saw a cougar on my range. So cunning and so skillful were their raids they defy description” (pp. 108-9). And wolves are just as deadly.
