keeping a watchful eye on the wolves

Which Christ?

This emerging teacher thinks that the upcoming 10th anniversary of Soularize is a great chance to gather the stray sheep together, because so many things have developed in the last ten years since their first planting, germination and sprouting of aberrant theology and surprises, like this:

…Getting further away from Christianity every day, Emergent guru, Brian McLaren, has joined the throng of apostates, earth worshippers, environmental nut cases, New Age leaders, and outright occultists in something called “The Vision Project” (www.thevisionproject.org). Their website is a compilation of essays fit for, well, the Antichrist. Surprised? No. Troubled? Absolutely….

Even so, wolves in sheeps clothing are often difficult to spot. In his Preaching Moment 175, can you tell which Jesus Christ McLaren is encouraging people to follow after? Is he talking about the Jesus Christ of the Bible, or Anti-Christ? Can a disciple of Christ have fellowship and partnership with those who follow Lucifer? McLaren does.

The Bible says:

“You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons.” 1 Corinthians 10:21

Sheep, who will you follow?

“I know that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; and from among your own selves men will arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after them.” Acts 20:29,30
