For the Sheep who Weep

Please read this timely word from another blog – for the sheep who weep:

Here are some scripture passages that were included in this encouraging message:

Ezekiel 2:3-7
3 And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me, even unto this very day.
4 For they are impudent children and stiffhearted. I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD.
5 And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them.
6 And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.
7 And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious.

Ezekiel 9:4 And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.

Great post! Very encouraging! Matt 10 and Eze 9 are chapters that God has laid on my heart w/i the last week.

God is teaching me that it isn’t the results that I should be looking for. It’s only the obedience that is important. It’s not my job to fix others, just to give them the words that God tells me to say. Period.

Yet it does grieve me deeply since some of these are members of my ‘household’ or ‘city’ whom I love.

Keep up the good work! Keep soldiering.
