Todd’s Ten Year Anniversary Tomorrow – Ten Years of Mother’s Day Visitations

Tracking the next visitation and word from Todd Bentley – BEWARE!

According to last night’s revival report:

Day 38 May 9th
Over 200 nations can see this broadcast.

Friday night report!

Todd shares… on the morning of Mothers Day 1998… Todd had a visitation of the Holy Spirit. For over three months the power of God touched him. But on Mothers Day, the Lord Himself appeared to him.

Every year to this date, the Holy Spirit has visited him in a special way on or near Mothers Day. He is expecting God to speak to him this weekend and he will share it Sunday night – Mothers Day.

Does Mr. Bentley think he is living in the Old Testament? Does the Bible teach that the Holy Spirit will “visit” a Christian once a year in a special way? Or does it teach that, since Jesus’ death, resurrection and ascension, believers are indwelt and sealed by the Holy Spirit the moment they are born again?

This older entry (’05) at Freshfire confirms Todd’s track record of Mother’s Day “visitation” claims:

Todd explained that he’s seeing an increase in the number of healing miracles that are taking place in various ministries around the world. He referred to Acts 5:12-15 and told us about the period from March to May 1998 when he spent hours every day with God during a period of recuperation from an industrial accident. On Mother’s Day in May of that year he had a visitation of Jesus who commissioned him to begin his full time ministry. Since then he’s seen over half a million souls saved and is looking for the first million. On Mother’s Day of this year, 2005, seven years after the sending forth, Todd had another encounter with Jesus. This time Todd was told that he’d receive a kingly anointing and he’s already noticed a marked difference in his healing ministry. Despite seven years of successful healing, God has made Todd understand that the healing ministry is really beginning as of Mother’s Day this year. Todd said that he has seen an angel called “Healing Revival” over 30 times and there’s much more revival coming.

For those who are awaiting a special message from the spirit that appears to Todd Bentley every Mother’s Day, PLEASE read the warnings on the posts and links on this blog! Be forewarned – test the spirits! Be watching, and beware.

“Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons” 1 Timothy 4:1

***Double Warning:

As some of you may have noticed, Mother’s Day this year falls on the same day as Pentecost. As Todd Bentley is expecting a visitation tomorrow from the “jesus” or “spirit” that has appeared to him every Mother’s Day for the last ten years, be on the alert! The familiar spirits that have been manifesting themselves during this revival may be using tomorrow as a counterfeit Pentecost!

Be warned.

Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.” 2 Cor. 2:11

I’m an ex-Pentecostal. One of the things my Dad [a Pentecostal preacher] has done every year is have a special prophetic word for January 31. Without fail, he tends to be wrong with only a few occasions of self-fulfilling prophecy.

Bentley is nothing more than a false prophet with a false Gospel. As a wise man once said, “Time is the enemy of the false prophet”. Just how long Bentley’s scam will last is where my problem lies.

    Grace and peace,

    Hi Douglas,

    Thanks for your comment.

“Time is the enemy of the false prophet”.

How true. So we will wait and see then.

This is yet another example of the pathetically low standards to which Biblical knowledge and discernment have fallen.

Florida seems to have eclipsed California as the new Coastal Carnival of Charismania.

This is supposed to be Christianity’s “mega-magical day” not only because of mother’s day, pentecost sunday, and Bentley’s tenth anniversary- annual visitation

But today is the “Global Day of Prayer” where Christians gang up on God repenting for sins (and invented sins) thinking he will change His mind and bring forth a theopolitical America in the mold of R.J. Rushdoony and James Dobson, and this week is the 60th anniversary of Israel being a nation and Rory and Wendy from GodTV is there and Kim Clement will prophecy at Mt. Carmel tomorrow.

Why is it that they expend too much energy waiting for the ‘perfect day’ (like Lou Engle’s 40 day fast until 7-7-07) or the anniversary that matches a number like 7 or 40 instead of just reading the Bible, obeying God, and fulfilling the Great Commission.
