Visions of Winnie the Pooh and a Field of Dreams?
Who is having visions of Winnie the Pooh and a field of dreams?
“Listen! Our spiritual eyes can be found in the imagination. I believe that we can have Holy Ghost, sanctified fantasies….
Recently I heard the Holy Spirit say, “If you build it they will come,” and I remembered the movie Field of Dreams. As that well-known line came to my memory again and again, I kept thinking, if we dream it they will come, or if we’ll dream bigger and if we’ll be released to dream, they will come. There is something important about believers birthing and bringing forth – calling forth those things that be not as though they were through dreams – that paves the way for the unsaved to come to Jesus Christ. I’ll speak more about the field of dreams later.
There is an invitation in the spirit right now to dream with God, to lift our vision higher… Remember, God is retrieving dreams; He’s redeeming prophetic promises that go back even hundreds of years.”-Todd Bentley

‘Restored’ Bentley Still Punching People
Todd Bentley: “The Lord told me, and remember I didn’t know he had a broken sternum or broken ribs, the Lord said I want you to punch him in the sternum as hard as you can, and I’m thinkin’ to myself, you know, you know, restoration, Rick’s here, my first service, you know, God you want me to punch this guy? And it just didn’t make sense to me, and I thought, Lord he’s dying, you know he lost over 40 pounds. So anyways, I punched him in that broken sternum, and he ended up on the ground and just vibrating under the power of God. He gets up and immediately you could see a change in his face and his countenance and uh, long story short, he was totally healed of cancer, the broken sternum was healed, the ribs were healed…”
Rick Joyner: “Instantly!”
Bentley: “Instantly!”
Joyner: “With the punch!”

Warning – Bill Johnson and Bethel Church
Warning – Bill Johnson and Bethel Church
by Andrew Strom
January 23, 2013I am really hoping to make this the last of this type of article for awhile. Some people think I “love” putting out this stuff. But I honestly wish it would all go away, so we could get on with the ‘real’ work of building the kingdom.
However, Bill Johnson is doing such damage to the Body of Christ around the world that I simply cannot stay silent. In New Zealand (where I am currently) he holds a huge Conference once a year called “Manifest Presence”. This is amost certainly the biggest and most influential Christian conference in the whole country. And likewise in other nations, such as UK, Australia, Singapore, and many others. His influence is enormous.
Bill Johnson is a very charming man…

We Should Not Be At All Surprised
We Should Not Be At All Surprised
by James Jacob Prasch
Sept 27, 2012Mark Stibbe, the UK proponent of Todd Bentley and every other deception based on neo-Gnostic mysticism and heresy, has been publicly reported to have abandoned his wife and children after promoting Todd Bentley who did the same. Stibbe had been leader of St. Andrews Chorleywood in the UK from where he and David Pytches promoted the Toronto counterfeit and the Kansas City false prophets including the homosexual alcoholic Paul Cain and sexual predator Bob Jones. After promoting Todd Bentley, Stibbe left St. Andrews to head a trust that supposedly is established to combat the problem of fatherless children. Ironically, but not surprisingly, in imitation of his hero Todd Bentley – Mr. Stibbe has gone into the enterprise of promulgating the problem. We should not be surprised.
The only thing of Christ that I have ever seen come out of St. Andrews are the godly believers who left it and its sister mental asylum Holy Trinity Brompton in utter disgust in response to the command of Christ in Revelation 18:4.
Now, the American neo-Gnostic and emergent church guru Brian McLaren who partnered with Rick Warren to forward and promote the book “The Emergent Church” by Dan Kimball has performed the same sex marriage ceremony for his homosexual son in Washington D.C. in the name of his Emergent Evangelicalism. According to Romans 1, both father and son are destined for eternal damnation unless they repent. But as with Mark Stibbe, when we observe the actions of Brian McLaren – once again, we should not be surprised.

“Oh what a tangled web we weave, When first we practice to deceive”
“Well, after a bit of a flurry, talk about Todd Bentley being banned from entering the UK might be dying down now in the blogosphere and English media.
Todd himself is unfazed. I am assuming that he is the one that posts on the “Fresh Fire USA” page on Facebook–it sounds like the way he expresses himself– and today, there is a post that his Norway crusade is going well. “National media reported a favourable story.” he posted.
But earlier on, he continued to be perturbed at the ban that prevents him from coming to Britain…”

British MP seeks to block B.C. evangelist’s entry
A controversial Canadian evangelist who attracted a huge U.S. following in 2008 before his sudden fall from grace is now under fire in Britain ahead of a planned tour that one London-area MP claims could bring physical harm to unwitting Christians in search of a faith-healing experience.
Todd Bentley, a 36-year-old preacher from Abbotsford, B.C., gained international attention four years ago when the charismatic sermoniser — heavily tattooed and a recovered drug addict — led a series of old-time Christian revival meetings in Florida that drew as many as 8,000 people a night during the summer of 2008.

Alleged Wolf Tracks covered in Australian newspaper
Todd Bentley’s alleged antics covered in Australian newspaper
We may be coming up on a holiday in Canada, but I wonder if Todd Bentley may be on his way to becoming a “nine-day wonder” in the English press. No holidays for Bentley for a while if that happens to him.
The Daily Telegraph, a newspaper in Sydney Australia, was so astounded by Todd Bentley’s alleged antics–which promise to get him in a spot of bother before his visit to Croydon, England later this month–wrote a story of their own for what I would guess would be their own Sunday edition…

MP CALLS FOR TODD BENTLEY TO BE BANNED FROM BRITAIN
Self-proclaimed “healing evangelist” Todd Bentley is set to tour Britain later this month, but it seems as though his presence may not be welcome. It has been reported that Labour MP Malcolm Wicks has asked Home Secretary Theresa May to ban Bentley, stating, “His visit can do nothing but harm and I would be grateful for any measures you can take.”
Wicks is not the only one who shares these concerns. The Daily Mail provides further information…

In Whom Will You Trust? Todd Bentley or Jesus Christ?
More than at any time in the history of the world, people who profess to be Christian are claiming to see Jesus. Their claims include elaborate stories of how Jesus suddenly and physically appeared to them, spoke to them, and even took them into visions and visits to heaven. They back their claims with smiles and tears, along with subtle, well-rehearsed words to assure their listeners their stories are “real” and “true”.

Seven Steps in the Tracks of a Wolf
Chrystal Whitt over at Slaughter of the Sheep informs us that on October 21, 2011, Todd Bentley posted a “how to,” or “do it yourself,” article on how to open Heaven. Find the link to his article, and her abbreviated (satirical) version, here:
Todd Bentley: Seven Steps to Open Heaven
http://slaughteringthesheep.wordpress.com/2011/11/01/seven-steps-to-open-heaven/
One of the actual steps in Bentley’s article is called the Word meditation principle:
Get the Word into your heart, mind, and soul daily. Become a modern-day Brother Lawrence. You will find powerful insights into living a life of daily intimacy with God in a nineteen-page compilation known as, “The Practice of the Presence of God: Conversations and Letters of Brother Lawrence.” For years Lawrence’s heart and spirit anguished and suffered. When this seventeenth-century monk discovered how to wait on the Lord in quietness and stillness, suddenly he found his life had changed. He experienced an open heaven and became intensely aware of the presence of God all of the time. His experience was similar to mine; I came to know a profound peace and God felt so close. Brother Lawrence practiced what is sometimes known today as the “silent prayer of the heart” or “meditation and contemplation.”
Brother Lawrence was a contemplative monk who, being a Carmelite, was heavily influenced by the mystical teachings of ‘the levitating saint‘, Teresa of Avila.
This confirms the initial findings of Wolf Tracks when it was first discovered that Todd Bentley was practicing and teaching contemplative spirituality, and leading his followers in the footsteps of mystics. See the previous posts on this subject as we backtrack through the contemplative mud to the year 2008…

The Bizarre Bentley
Christianity Today reports on the bizarre world of Bentley…
‘Crazy, Bizarre, and Wonderful’
Such is the world of Todd Bentley and the Lakeland Revival of 2008, as depicted in new documentary.
9/13/2011
Social media and satellite television now enable Christians around the world to follow spiritual events as never before. Probably the most notable example to date is the Lakeland Revival of 2008. So it’s only appropriate that we now have Lakeland, a documentary about the controversial, dynamic event led by pierced, tattooed Canadian evangelist Todd Bentley.

The Trusted Shepherd
Part of the ‘restoration’ process of Todd Bentley, as it draws to completion, is being recommended to minister by Bill Johnson and looking out for his first wife and children. Benediction Blogs On informs us that, according to Bill Johnson, Bentley is very happy to have his family under the care of their new pastor and friend, Brent Borthwick.
One of the more important contacts in this process has been with Brent Borthwick. He is Shonnah’s pastor. Brent is a trusted personal friend of mine and represents Todd’s ex-wife and kids with compassion and wisdom. He has spent time with Todd since his move to Morningstar and has affirmed that from his point of view, Todd is doing well. He also told me he was pleased at how much at peace Todd seemed to be. Brent’s perspective is important to me, for obvious reasons. He was also able to verify that Todd has taken care of Shonnah and the kids financially in an honorable way and continues to do so.

http://www.benedictionblogson.com/2011/08/17/todd-bentley-is-completely-recomended-to-minister-birds-fly-fish-swim/
It seems Bentley’s family is under the same kind of spiritual leadership as before the divorce. Last year, Borthwick partnered with Bentley’s friend Patricia King at the Voice of Thunder Conference 2010 in Mission, B.C. Previous to this, he was ‘ministering’ in the Caribbean with his family on a 67 foot yacht, the Jireh.

Todd Bentley is campaigning hard for a revival
Todd Bentley is campaigning hard for a revival. He released letters on June 15 and June 20 that are, to put it mildly, nothing short of embarrassing.
In the letter from June 15, Bentley says:
RAIN CLOUDS OVER CHURCHES
One time when I returned from healing revival meetings in Whitehorse, Yukon; I was ministering in the Abbotsford Revival Center and in worship that morning, the Holy Spirit brought me back to a prophetic word that I had given in the Whitehorse meetings. God began to speak to me about the coming healing revival in North America. In worship that morning I was caught up in the Spirit and I saw many rain clouds individually set up over many churches and ministries across the States & Canada pouring down rain. The rain clouds looked like they do in the cartoons on TV where rain would be pouring down upon one person or one place. Then I saw many ministers and churches that are already flowing in this miracle healing anointing, beginning to go into different cities and towns. As they were leaving these places of ministry the cloud would remain upon that church and continue to pour down healing rain.

Look Out – Todd Bentley’s Seeing Angels Again
Here we go again…
Todd Bentley’s Seeing Angels Again
Todd Bentley released a letter that he entitled, “IMPORTANT NOTICE FROM TODD BENTLEY.” When I saw the title, I knew it would be interesting.
What I get from reading Bentley’s missive is that he’s missing the glory days of the Lakeland revival and he’s itching for a repeat. Building up to this logical climax in his message, Bentley begins by saying:
“Two weeks ago at the Greater Glory Gathering Virginia Beach, the Lord spoke to me about contending for a greater outpouring of his presence, signs, and wonders. During this prophetic experience I saw the Revival Healing Angel that had visited us in Lakeland, Florida.”

Zion Fire – My Experience with Todd Bentley
Todd Bentley
After I was employed by the Elijah List for about a year, I had my first exposure to Todd Bentley.
Although Todd Bentley was fiery and charismatic in front of an audience, on a personal level he seemed to be a very insecure person. He wasn’t used to the notoriety that had been thrust upon him, but he definitely enjoyed it.
Over the course of time, Todd asked Steve if he wanted to send one of his (Steve’s) employees on a mission trip to Uganda with Fresh Fire Ministries (Todd Bentley’s ministry). Steve suggested to me that I should go, and even generously offered to pay for the trip and my wages while I was gone. At first, I was reluctant to go (I have never felt called to Africa), but after much prodding from Steve and my co-workers, I decided to go ahead and go.
